The NVCL training and outreach team works to make the NVCL datasets easily accessible for Australian researchers and the minerals industry. We run collaborative workshops with the state and territory geological surveys and Australian universities, and provide openly accessible online training materials, including instructional videos, case studies and recorded webinars that you can find on this page.
Tailored to you
We tailor workshops for a range of audiences, focusing on the applied use of NVCL datasets, including region and commodity-specific case studies and a hands-on TSG software training component. The documented case studies datasets available below highlight the application of NCVL datasets for different geological challenges and include the HyLogger data as a .tdg file, allowing for complete access in TSG without a full license.

We provide each case study dataset in .tdg file format, which allows you to have full access to TSG for that dataset even if you don't have a license. And we provide case study documentation alongside the data.
