We are pleased to present AuScope’s 10-Year Strategy 2020 – 2030 and 5-Year Investment Plan, which culminate extensive national geoscience community ideas and expertise gathered over the last few years. We are pleased to finally share them!

10-Year Strategy

This Strategy outlines the approach that AuScope will take to build the Downward Looking Telescope (DLT), a critical piece of infrastructure identified in the National Research Infrastructure Roadmap, the National Academy of Science’s Decadal Plan for Australian Geoscience and most importantly, by the Australian geoscience research community.

It also outlines the critical data, culture and collaboration needs surrounding the DLT that will act as the ‘glue’ to enable impactful geoscience.

5-Year Investment Plan

This Plan outlines new and continued investment
needed in AuScope to enable geoscience research innovation in Australia in the next five years, and across the decade 2020 – 2030.

We will use this document to guide operational and investment decisions in AuScope’s Downward Looking Telescope (DLT), a concept to describe a newly integrated and augmented capability of instruments, services, data and analytics.
